How To - Post Your City

Okay I have an example posted of how we can show each other our cities. Now I'm going to show you how to do this just in case some of you do not know how.

So first your going to need to log into Civony

now when you get in you will need to take a "Screen Capture". To do this you will need to press the key that will say "PrtScrn" above you "INSERT" key(some keyboards may differ).

now this has copied what is visible on your page to your clipboard. So what we have to do is open a image editing tool such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or if you dont have these you will have to use paint.

Method with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro:

open this image by pressing "CTRL + V"
now use the CROP Tool select the area you want to display then double click on it .

you will be left with only that part of the picture left save it as a jpeg and your done.

Method With Paint:

Open this image by pressing "CTRL + V"

Select the area you want with the rectangular marquee tool

Right click, click invert selection

Now press the delete key on your keyboard

Select the spot you want again

Move into top left corner as much as possible

now drag the canvas to where your image ends at bottom right corner

Save image as jpeg and your done

Hosting The Image

Now go to ImageShack.com

put your image in

check resize box , change to (for message boards) setting

click upload

go to the post you are creating

if html is not activated activate it

click little picture icon

put the direct link imageshack gave you into the text box the picture icon gave you

and there your done!
