Best rate of return on your taxes

Was playing with some number to determine what is the best rate to set your taxes at.

I found it to be at 50%. Below is the results. I used a small population of 10,000 people. Here is the tax structure.

Max population = 10,000 pop.

Population * Tax Rate = Taxes (income)

9000 * 10% = $900
8000 * 20% = $1600
7000 * 30% = $2100
6000 * 40% = $2400
5000 * 50% = $2500
4000 * 60% = $2400
3000 * 70% = $2100
2000 * 80% = $1600
1000 * 90% = $900

I would be careful with this when you are going on vacation or will be gone for more than a day or two. A low starting loyalty could make it easier to conquer you city if someone attacks.
